Maria Teresa Bianzan : important presence in the international contemporary art scene
She was born in 1940 in the midst of the war conflict, which only procures drama and fear and, to escape reality the artist takes refuge in soothing fairy-tale worlds
Her ancestors were devotees of the figurative arts and, a chance genetic combination, coupled with a refined education, contributed to the formation of her artistic process.<\/p>

Remember…in the childhood period lived at Borgobello hill, a fantastic natural laboratory, I
felt guilty of existing,I felt that I was hurting the trampled grass, that I was exercising by living an act of violence that nullified other existences; the signals of nature and the tensions of the invisible sometimes pulsed in my mind , while the thought felt anxiety about the fate of every being .<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

In that formative period for me , I was very intrigued and attracted by the presence of different ethnic groups such as Americans,English,Spanish and Japanese who were running at the end of the war the camp kitchen set up in grandfather’s garden and who with different languages and somatic traits behaved with affectionate attention and kind thoughts.
Distant cosmic messages to decode, still create such emotional tensions for me today that I have to translate them on the canvas with symbols, shapes, writings and memories in a language with universal value…<\/p>

His curiosity of the existing is coupled with an uncommon sensitivity that is enriched by reading, museum visits, an innate passion for scientific knowledge, and the fascination of classical and oriental arts<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

This world of his develops an autonomous painting style away from conventions or market impositions, and, the sometimes dramatic content is also evidence of the most difficult social<\/p>\n

The high school diploma obtained at the Venice Art School did not influence her research path, obeying impulses originated from a millenary memory and ancient codes of nature.
She, far from particular ambitions or from coveted and ephemeral successes, a little shy, reserved and respectful is in stark contrast to the power of her works.
Her very personal painting style is the result of careful research guided by drawing that preserves harmony and classical composure<\/p>\n

His first solo exhibition in 1969 held in his city, is curated by Arturo Manzano correct and esteemed art critic who writes” A debut dare I say exceptional and presented to the public with surprising works inspired by states of mind, full of magic and spells with line drawings, which reveal an extraordinary expressive force.”<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
